The glaze is called Make-up clay is,which a decorative layer of relatively pure, low-iron porcelain clay, processed into a white, delicate, white or milky color and applied to the surface of the body. The use of make-up clay can make the surface of the body smooth and flat, the glaze layer is soft and moist.
To enhance the quality, we add rock ore to the clay and fire it through multiple high-temperature oxidation processes. The result is a smooth glaze and a comfortable handle, with each piece being uniquely crafted.

Was notified they had to have a kiln change so my order would take longer, but it still arrived pretty early! The colors are gorgeous and the size is perfect. Silicone lid dribbles a tiny bit but I knew that was a potential risk with a handmade product; usually if I turn it a bit I can get it to seal properly again, and I'm so delighted.

I do wish the spoon held about 20% more volume. When I looked around this seemed to be the standard size. I guess and oversized option would be nice.
