we call it “snowflake” because of the glaze looks like white snowflake. We use a special “crystal glaze” to decorate the exterior of the mugs. High temperature firing color glaze, chemical molecule stability, there will be the release of harmful substances, so it is food safe and dishwasher safe.
Each mug will be unique with its own subtle differences, making it yours and yours only.
Due to the fact that it is handmade and the random nature of kiln changes. Each mug has a different glaze and the texture on the outside is different.

Was notified they had to have a kiln change so my order would take longer, but it still arrived pretty early! The colors are gorgeous and the size is perfect. Silicone lid dribbles a tiny bit but I knew that was a potential risk with a handmade product; usually if I turn it a bit I can get it to seal properly again, and I'm so delighted.

I do wish the spoon held about 20% more volume. When I looked around this seemed to be the standard size. I guess and oversized option would be nice.
